VERDOSO is a reference shareholder, driven by a strong entrepreneurial culture and nearly 30 years of experience supporting companies in transformation. We operate without sector constraints, alongside growing or changing companies seeking a committed long-term partner.
Verdoso has been successfully investing in real estate for over twenty years. The company invests equity and credit across all asset classes in various regions. Verdoso has operational expertise in managing hotel and residential real estate assets.
Our expertise extends to:
Our approach is operational: we mobilize the intensity and expertise needed (finance, operational excellence, supply chain, sourcing, technology, automation and AI) to build sustainable growth trajectories, without imposed exit horizons.
At Verdoso, investment is for the long term, serving an industrial project shared with management teams.
Verdoso has been investing in real estate with a contrarian approach for over 20 years. From 2009, Verdoso invested in Single Family Homes in the United States. Today, Verdoso has operational expertise in real estate asset management with over 2,000 units in portfolio and 100+ people dedicated to operations.
Verdoso brings together entrepreneurial skills from multiple sectors with a strong technological lever: we deploy artificial intelligence solutions, voice agents, execute our own full-stack web development and automation to transform complex processes in our portfolio companies, particularly in: industry, supply chain, sourcing, finance and property management. This allows us to gain in responsiveness, financial precision and operational excellence, while preserving what matters: the expertise and service mindset of the teams.
Since 1997, Verdoso has been an independent French industrial
group founded by Franck Ullmann to invest equity in mid-sized
companies for sustainable transformation. With 2,600
employees, the group now controls 13 companies generating
together nearly €600M in revenue.
Specialist in carve-outs, Verdoso has completed 34
acquisitions since its founding in 1997, applying its method
to revitalize non-strategic activities divested by large
groups. Among our operations: Estamfor (Arcelor), Polyane
(Elf Atochem), Bouguet Pau (Pernod Ricard), NUM (Schneider
Electric), Aptunion (Kerry Group), Cloisons Partena &
Clips (Lafarge), Kompass (Natixis) and The Kooples (Maus).
This experience makes Verdoso the preferred partner for
management teams seeking an engaged, responsive partner who
creates long-term industrial value.
Our philosophy is based on entrepreneurial and committed ownership: management teams always invest alongside us. We bring together experts from industry, distribution and services to lead the transformation of the companies we acquire. Funded exclusively by equity, Verdoso has patient capital with no exit constraints; finance is only a means serving a shared industrial project. Each investment is thus based on a clear, quantified action plan validated from the start by management and employees.
Because alignment of interests creates an entrepreneurial dynamic: executives and shareholders together aim for long-term value creation.
We invest equity without exit constraints; we stay as long as necessary to successfully complete the transformation project and ensure sustainable growth.
From the acquisition phase, we develop with the teams a quantified action plan, validated by employees and fully funded to guarantee its execution.

Finance is a tool, never an end in itself: it serves to secure the human, industrial and commercial resources essential to the project's success.
With its expertise in artificial intelligence and IT, Verdoso does not hesitate, when technology is a lever, to develop its own software components or implement innovative solutions such as AI voice agents.
Verdoso invests exclusively in equity, ensuring total independence in decisions and rapid execution. Our commitments are long-term (≈ 8 years): up to €10M per project, with exit decided jointly once transformation and growth are achieved.
Verdoso only commits funds after co-developing with management a realistic and jointly validated action plan. A dedicated project team leads its execution, allowing management to stay focused on their expertise, then mobilizes the financing required for the development phase that follows.
Verdoso targets SMEs with up to €250M in revenue, with viable business models but facing change: management transition, carve-out from large groups or need to strengthen their balance sheet. Our intervention secures their financial structure and opens a new growth cycle.
